Our expertise in Design and Architecture focuses on infusing ancient architectural wisdom of Indian passive architecture and Vastu, along with geometrical designs into modern construction. Our inspiration comes from the legacy of ancient architecture, which valued nature, sustainability, and proper alignment and placements. This heritage has empowered us to redefine modern construction, making it more attuned to the environment and creating spaces that feel harmonious and balanced.

Philosophy

The design philosophy of Sri Sumeru Realty is to see an architecture principally as a ‘vibration’. Everything in this creation has certain vibrations. The five elements in nature which are the principal resources in any construction a represent a unique vibration. This vibration tends to flow in a certain direction and rhythm which our ancient engineers (meditators, Rishi Munis) deciphered and understood very well and built architectures that were energy efficient. Sri Sumeru Realty draws inspiration in the same lines of elevating a physical space through the integration of the five elements in building architectures that are vibrational, sound and architecturally innovative.

 We believe in sustainable thinking that drives us to source building materials locally such as our Sri Sri University project was a laterite based construction with hardly any use of concrete. The benefits of going local are obvious– reduced environmental impact of using human-made concrete and metals, and transporting materials long distances. This makes a lot of difference to the environment, supports the local economy and reduces the running cost of a structure over a long period of time. 

Our design technology is an amalgamation of Earth architecture, Vastu science and intelligent engineering of architectural spaces to build structures that meet IGBC certification and are sure to enhance users’ utility at the levels of body, mind, spirit and the environment.

Mr. Narendra Lamba
Mr. Narendra Lamba

Managing Director

Mr. Narendra Lamba is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in administration and operations. Starting as a volunteer with the Art of Living Foundation, he has held senior leadership positions within the organisation.

Currently serving as the MD of SSRPL, he has successfully completed numerous construction projects, totaling over a million square feet, in record time.

Mr. Lamba’s visionary approach and adherence to the Sanskrit saying “Sattva Vridhi, Karya Siddhi” reflect his belief in the power of increased awareness and purity for successful actions. His previous roles include Trustee at Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth and Director Operations at Sri Sri University. With his expertise and dedication, Mr. Narendra Lamba continues to shape the construction industry with integrity and excellence.

Mr. Sandeep Nowlakha

Director

Mr. Sandip Nowlakha, a distinguished entrepreneur and one of the founders of Sri Sumeru Realty, brings a wealth of experience and a diverse background to the organisation. Having studied Hotel Management in Switzerland, Sandip has over three decades of entrepreneurial experience across various sectors, including food processing, coffee plantations, fast food cafes, and hospitality. Furthermore, he has established himself as a seasoned investor and a trusted pan-India advisor in the real estate industry.

Mr. Sandip Nowlakha is a globally recognized consultant in the vegetarian food services sector, sharing his expertise worldwide. He is also the author of the acclaimed Nowlakha Restaurant Management Manual. Additionally, he actively promotes community development through the Murshidabad Heritage Development Society, managing skill development programs in West Bengal.

Mr.Sandip Nowlakha, a fervent advocate of Ayurvedic Medicines, has dedicated his efforts to promoting holistic wellness in Europe and India. His association with the Art of Living Foundation since 1987 demonstrates his commitment to personal and spiritual growth, while his membership in numerous national and international welfare organisations underscores his dedication to making a positive impact on society. Furthermore, Sandip’s endeavours extend to hosting and organising large-scale programs that foster spiritual growth, raise environmental awareness, and promote a harmonious and sustainable world.

Mr.Sukanto Bhowal

Director

Mr. Sukanto Bhowal is an experienced entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the construction and Land Development. He has studied Civil Engineering from Belur Math, Ramakrishna Mission in West Bengal. He has been a builder and developer since 1990.

As a founder of Surbhi, a brand in Pune, Mr. Sukanto Bhowal has contributed in construction of over 1.45 million sq. ft. in several projects in his entire career.

As a director of SSRPL, Mr. Sukanto Bhowal brings his diverse experience of the construction and real estate industry into the organisation to deliver the highest standard projects in the industry.

Mr. Sukanto Bhowal is a philanthropist and has been associated with The Art of Living Foundation for 20 years and is one of the key role models for the development of The Art of Living Foundation’s Triveni Ashram in the city of Pune.

Cheif Executive Officer

Mr. Sunit Suryakant Kaluskar  is a Gold Medalist  in Chemical Technology from UICT Mumbai. After working for eight years at Atul Ltd, he came to The Art of Living International ashram in 2007 and became the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of The Art of Living International center in 2014.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Piyush Kankrania is an ace Chartered Accountant who has over 12 years of expertise in the industry and specialises in financial contract negotiations, guaranteeing the company’s long-term profitability and high standards of quality control. His technical expertise includes developing strategies, deciding on critical funding, forming partnerships and joint ventures, and overseeing high-profile projects.

With his innovative IT-based solutions for the manufacturing industry and his technology-based IT solutions for the real estate sector, Mr. Piyush has had an amazing career trajectory. He has gained extensive expertise working in a variety of businesses, such as banking, manufacturing, technology, fast-moving consumer goods(FMCGs), and real estate. As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sri Sumeru Realty he has a clear strategic vision and is prepared to take on ambitious projects and expedite real estate projects, thanks to his strong team leadership abilities and significant market and industry expertise.

When Mr. Piyush has free time, he likes to travel, meditate, and learn about Indian culture. He likes to cook, and after a demanding workday, spending time with his family is his favourite part of the day.

Sanjeev Bansal
Mr. Sanjeev Bansal

Advisor

Mr Sanjeev Bansal is a successful business tycoon who takes his responsibilities towards environment sincerely. He consistently introduces eco-friendly concepts and products within his Raj Group of Industries. With degrees from Cardiff Business School and Leads University, U.K., he quickly joined his father’s Laundry soap venture. Within two years, he purchased a plot of land spanning 32,000 sq yards and established a new factory. He also made crucial decisions such as setting up a Detergent unit, and units for hydrogenation and a vegetable oil refining. Under Mr. Bansal’s leadership, brands like Raj Super White Laundry Soap and NJOY Toilet Soap were introduced in 2000. Raj Super White is now the top Laundry Soap in the country, with a distribution network across 13 states and exports to Africa.

His industrial experiments include setting up complex art and plant machinery, with the latest being the experiment conducted to shift from fossil fuel to green fuel as such a new boiler that has been installed based on Rice Straw/Sugarcane bales fuel which is successfully commissioned.

With 45 years of experience in machinery installation, construction, and building various structures, Mr. Bansal’s expertise is valuable for future construction activities at SSRPL. He’s honored to advise the Board of Directors of SSPRL under the guidance of ART of LIVING and is thrilled to share his journey.

Mr. Ramachandran

Advisor

 

Born in the steel city of Jamshedpur Ramachandran did his schooling from Loyola school,completed his Mechanical Engg degree from the now NIT Trichy and There after joined the tubes division of Tata Steel in 1976.While working he joined the MBA evening program in XLRI and completed the same in 1982.

He has had a wide range of experience emcompassing manufacturing materials marketing and general management spanning over forty years.
He is currently retired from full time work but is actively involved as an advisor to the Sri Sumeru Realty Private Limited, Bengaluru. 

He is married to Malathi and they are blessed with two boys Rishi and Rohit both working in London and Austin respectively. Their daughter in law Aarti is also working in London as a lawyer in UK government.
